TEXAS HOLD 'EM is the lead single lifted from Beyoncé's eighth studio album RENAISSANCE Act II, released simultaneously alongside 16 CARRIAGES.

The track was released on February 11 2024, and was co-written by Beyoncé alongside Brian Bates, Elizabeth Lowell Boland, Megan Bülow, Nathan Ferraro and Raphael Saadiq. TEXAS HOLD 'EM was produced by Beyoncé with Ferraro and Killah B.

RENAISSANCE Act II serves as the the follow-up LP to Beyoncé's 2022 Number 1 album RENAISSANCE, which spawned four Top 40 tracks including BREAK MY SOUL and CUFF IT. RENAISSANCE Act II will be released on March 29 2024.

While Beyoncé's first solo UK Number 1 hit came in the form of pop anthem Crazy In Love back in July 2003, twenty years later - and fourteen years since her last chart topper - on 23 February 2024 TEXAS HOLD 'EM delivered Beyoncé her sixth Number 1 single. Prior to that, Beyoncé's last taste of UK Number 1 single success was 2008's If I Were A Boy.
